- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 14 oz can evaporated milk (warmed)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10–12 small/medium Granny Smith apples

Instructions
- Prep Apples: Remove stems from apples and rinse them under hot water. Dry thoroughly and chill in the refrigerator if desired.
- Make Caramel: In a heavy-bottom saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir until boiling, then gradually add warmed evaporated milk while stirring.
- Cook Caramel: Attach candy thermometer and stir until reaching 235-240°F. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Prepare Apples: Dry apples again and insert craft sticks into cores. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Dip Apples: Once caramel cools to around 200°F, dip each apple until well-coated and allow excess caramel to drip off before placing on parchment.
- Add Toppings: Apply toppings while caramel is warm for better adherence.
- Repeat & Store: Continue with remaining apples and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
