- 5 firm apples (e.g., Granny Smith or Fuji)
- 300 g caramel candies
- 40 g chocolate melts (dark or milk chocolate)
- 60 g white chocolate
- 15 g assorted toppings (crushed cookies, nuts, colorful candy)
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash the apples and remove any wax. Pat dry and insert wooden skewers into each apple.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel candies in intervals of 30 seconds until smooth. Alternatively, melt in a saucepan over low heat.
- Dip each apple into the melted caramel until fully coated and let excess drip off before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the chocolate melts and dip half of each caramel-coated apple into the chocolate. Return to the baking sheet.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate over each apple for decoration and sprinkle with assorted toppings while still warm.
- Allow the apples to set at room temperature until all coatings are firm before serving.
