Ingredients
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups tonic water (not diet)
- Lemon twists for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together boiling water and granulated sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in lemon juice and tonic water until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a 9×13" metal pan and freeze for 30 minutes. Scrape with a fork to break up ice crystals.
- Return pan to freezer, scraping every 30 minutes for about two hours until fluffy.
- Serve in glasses garnished with fresh lemon twists.
