Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix mashed bananas and granulated sugar until blended.
- Add the egg and vegetable oil to the banana mixture and beat until combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract and Nutella until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in optional chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins, filling each about ⅔ full; add dollops of Nutella on top if desired and swirl gently.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
