- 3 oz blue jello mix

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well; stir in vanilla.
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Divide dough in half; mix red jello into one half and blue jello into the other.
- Prepare a jello-sugar coating by mixing equal parts of jello and sugar in small bowls.
- Roll cookie dough into tablespoon-sized balls; coat each ball in the corresponding jello mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; flatten slightly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden; cool completely before decorating.
