Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with pretzel crumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg, then coat with pretzel crumbs.
- Place breaded chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; whisk in milk and Dijon mustard until thickened (about 5 minutes). Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve the crispy chicken topped with sauce and garnished with parsley.
