- 6 eggs
- 3 slices of turkey bacon, finely chopped
- 2 jalapeño peppers, finely chopped
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring enough water to boil for steaming the eggs. Add the eggs and steam for 11 minutes.
- Immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool before peeling.
- Once cooled, slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a bowl.
- Cook the chopped turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside.
- Sauté the jalapeños in the remaining grease for one minute, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- In a bowl, combine egg yolks, sautéed vegetables, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, and salt using an electric mixer until smooth.
- Fill each egg white half with the mixture and top with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
