- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar (divided)
- ¾ cup applesauce
- 3 ounces flavored gelatin (e.g., cherry and berry blue)
- ¼ ounce unflavored vegan gelatin (1 envelope)
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare your silicone star-shaped mold on a flat surface.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of sugar, applesauce, flavored gelatin, and lemon juice. Stir until well mixed and bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, sprinkle in the unflavored vegan gelatin and whisk until completely dissolved.
- Carefully pour the hot mixture into the molds without overfilling.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until firm.
- Gently remove from molds and store in an airtight container.
