- 1 cup whole milk
- 2¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

- 3¾–4¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 quarts vegetable oil (or a neutral oil of your choice, for frying)
- 2 whole graham crackers (crushed (~½ cup graham cracker crumbs))
- 7 oz vegan marshmallows fluff
- ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon plant-based heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup plant-based heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Warm the whole milk until lukewarm. Sprinkle in the active dry yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine melted unsalted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Add the frothy yeast mixture into the wet ingredients. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
- Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough gently. Roll it out to about ½ inch thick on a floured surface.
- Use a donut cutter to cut out shapes from the dough. Place them on parchment-lined trays.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or deep fryer over medium heat.
- Carefully fry each donut until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove from oil and place on cooling racks.
- In a medium bowl, beat together room temperature unsalted butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vegan marshmallows fluff until smooth.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Fill each donut with the vegan marshmallows filling using a piping bag or spoon.
- Dip the tops of each filled donut into melted chocolate then sprinkle crushed graham crackers over them before they set.
